Deutsche Windtechnik has signed a 15-year contract to provide service the Scieki wind farm in Poland, owned by Macquarie’s Green Investment Group (GIG).
Scieki is located in central Poland and hosts 11 Vestas V90 wind turbines.
The scope of the service contract spans full service, including major components as well as guaranteed energy-based availability of the wind turbines.
Wojciech Luzniak, country manager of Deutsche Windtechnik Poland, said: “The long-term focus of the contract provides certainty to both parties and opens up multiple options for us to consider the requests of the customer, Green Investment Group, such as local presence,” he said.
In order to be able to service Scieki wind farm, located south-west of Warsaw, Deutsche Windtechnik has opened new service stations in central Poland.
The bases are practically located from a geographical perspective, as they allow the teams to reach the wind farm quickly and efficiently.
Additionally, the Polish unit of Deutsche Windtechnik has expanded its operational service team in the region.
