Finnish developer Suomen Hyotytuuli has made an investment decision on the construction of a 93MW wind farm worth approximately €115m.
Construction of the Oosinsela wind farm will begin in the spring of 2022 and the wind farm will enter production in 2023/2024.
Oosinsela will consist of 15 turbines.
Five of the wind farm’s turbines will be located in the area of the city of Pori and 10 in the area of the former municipality of Luvia in Eurajoki.
Suomen Hyotytuuli has entered into a turbine supply agreement with Vestas for the EnVentus V162-6.2MW turbines and is finalising other contracts.
In addition to the Oosinsela investment, the company is building the Polusjarvi wind farm in Pyhajoki and the Alajoki-Peuralinna wind farm in Perho and Kyyjarvi.
These investments will increase Suomen Hyotytuuli’s production capacity to more than 400MW.
