Duke Energy has completed the 200MW Los Vientos IV wind farm near Rio Grande in Starr County, Texas.
The project consists of 100 Vestas V110 2MW turbines.
The Danish manufacturer will also service the project under a three-year operations and maintenance agreement.
Electricity generated from the project and associated renewable energy credits will be bought by Austin Energy under a 25-year agreement.
The facility was built by Wanzek Construction, with Amshore US Wind providing development support.
