Ecotricity will start work soon on the foundations for the three-turbine Alveston wind farm in Gloucestershire.
The company said it will start digging work for the foundations and construction of the crane pads in the spring, as well as continue work on the substation.
The turbines are expected to be delivered in October, before erection and connection to the national grid by December.
Ecotricity started work preparing the site and creating the onsite access tracks last year.
The company will also set up a community benefit fund for the wind farm, which will be managed through its charity arm the Green Britain Foundation.
The fund will make almost £7000 available each year for groups in local area.
