EDF Energies Nouvelles has bagged three power purchase agreements (PPA) for some 82MW of wind and solar in Canada.
The 20-year PPAs cover the 60MW Romney wind farm in the south west of the province in which EDF partnered with the Aamjiwnaang First Nation community.
It also includes the developer’s 12MW Pendleton and 10MW Barlow solar projects in eastern Ontario.
The deals were awarded as part of a procurement competition run by Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator.
