EDP Renewables has inaugurated the 68MW Muxia wind farm in the Spanish region of Galicia.
The project features 32 2MW turbines and brings the company’s total installed capacity in the region to 281MW. Overall, EDPR has 2312MW of installed capacity in Spain.

EDPR chief executive Joao Manso Neto said: “On behalf of everyone at EDPR, I’d like to thank the regional and local authorities for their support on this project.
“The goodwill and hard work of everyone involved have made this project possible, which will undoubtedly have a major impact on the socio-economic development of the area.”
