EDPR has sold 80% stakes in three wind farms in North America totalling 499MW to Axium Infrastructure for $860m.
Two of the projects are in the US – the 200MW Meadow Lake 6 facility in Indiana that started operations in December last year and the 199MW Prairie Queen development in Kansas which is due online in the first half of 2019.

The third wind farm in Canada is the 100MW Nation Rise project due online in the fourth quarter of this year. EPDR has completed the sale of 75% of Nation Rise with the other 5% to be sold when the project starts operations.
EDPR said the sale is part of a ‘sell-down’ strategy to offload majority interests in projects under development and operational.
