The European Investment Bank (EIB) is considering a trio of funding applications to help build wind farms in India totalling 392MW.
Two of the applications, which request finance totalling €39m, are part of a loan scheme agreement between the EIB and the government-owned India Infrastructure Finance Company.
The scheme aims to support small to medium-sized renewables and energy efficiency investments in the south Asian country.
One request is for €19m towards a 100MW wind farm in Madhya Pradesh, while the second is for €30m to help fund a 100MW project in Andhra Pradesh and a 92MW scheme in Madhya Pradesh.
The third application, which is for €27m towards a 100MW wind farm in Andhra Pradesh, is part of an EIB loan framework agreement with the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency.
The bank said it is currently considering the applications.
