Enel’s US unit has received a $365m investment from two banks for its 300MW Rock Creek wind farm in Missouri.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan signed the tax equity agreement, which will give them ownership of all the project’s Class B equity interests.
The Enel unit, meanwhile, will retain ownership of the project’s Class A interests and maintain management control of the project.
Construction on Rock Creek commenced in October ahead of the $500 million development’s expected completion at the end of 2017.
