Asset manager Conquest has acquired a 51% stake in a portfolio of wind farms totalling 43MW in Belgium from Engie Electrabel for an undisclosed price.
The deal, through the Conquest Sustainable Infrastructure fund, is for five projects in the Flanders region of the country that will deliver power from early 2021.

The projects benefit from 15 to 20-year green certificates local remuneration schemes and so generate yearly secured revenues.
Conquest said the investments are in line with the fund’s strategy to invest into risk-adjusted portfolios across Europe.
