Eolus has completed and handed over an 125MW portfolio of Swedish onshore wind farms to owner BKW.
The projects Skallberget/Utterberget (pictured), Tjärnäs and Rosenskog comprise 19 turbines.
The sites were sold to BKW in June 2023 and Eolus has managed the construction under a Construction Management Agreement on behalf of BKW.
Based on the completion of the projects, Eolus will record remaining revenues from the projects in fourth quarter 2023 and receipt of the payments in beginning of first quarter 2024.
The three sites are located in Avesta, Hedemora and Falköping municipalities in price area SE3 in southern Sweden. A major unnamed global energy company will purchase all the electricity from the wind farms under a Power Purchase Agreement.
Eolus will provide technical, operational, and administrative services for the developments on a long-term contract.
“We are proud to be able to hand over the projects to BKW on time and within budget,” said Eolus chief executive Per Witalisson.
“We now look forward to cooperating with BKW also in the operational phase, where Eolus has a strong track record of delivering technical and administrative asset management services.”
