About 300 jobs were created during construction and local contractors spent more than $12m on local products and services, the company added.
Eon chief operating officer North America Silvia Ortin said: “In addition to creating high-paying local jobs, the Stella wind farm will generate more than $25m in local community benefits over the life of the project in the Kenedy County area.
“This additional revenue will support essential county services and local schools.”
