ERG has completed the construction and initiated the energisation of the greenfield wind farm at Moulins du Bois, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France.
The wind farm consists of nine Vestas V117 turbines, each with a capacity of 3.6MW, for a total installed capacity of 32.4MW.
The array will produce an estimated 70GWh a year, equivalent to the energy needs of approximately 11,000 households and benefits from a tariff regime with a 20-year CfD.
ERG chief executive Paolo Merli said: “We are very satisfied to have recently started up two wind farms in France, both resulting from organic development in line with what is outlined in our Industrial Plan.
“A significant step forward for ERG, which consolidates its presence in the country, the group’s second reference market with a total installed capacity of over 700MW.”
