Eurowind Energy has acquired four wind farms in Denmark totalling 325MW from Vattenfall for an undisclosed sum.
The agreement covers the Norrekaer Enge 2 near Logstor, Norre Okse So located close to Brovst, Hjelm Hede in Holstebro, and Rejsby Hede in the municipality of Tonder.
The four projects will consist of 74 turbines in total.
Norrekaer Enge 2 will consist of 20 machines in the Vesthimmerland Municipality and 16 in the Aalborg Municipality.
Nørre Okse So is a repowering project that will replace 23 old turbines with 11 newer units.
The 80MW Hjelm Hede will consist of 12 turbines, with the 101MW Rejsby Hede comprising machines.
Eurowind chief executive Jens Rasmussen said: “We are very pleased to have reached this agreement with Vattenfall.
“We believe all four projects will make a significant contribution to the green transition in Denmark.
“The four projects are all attractive and fit very well in our existing development portfolio.
“Vattenfall has worked with these projects for several years and we look forward to complete this work.”
