Exus Renewables has acquired a 51MW wind farm project in the north of Spain, from independent Spanish company Enhol Group.
The scheme is in ready to build phase and is expected to achieve commercial operation in the third quarter of 2025.
The agreement marks the initial step in a broader Exus strategy to establish its footprint in the region’s renewable energy sector.
Exus said the project includes the potential for solar hybridisation, co-located battery storage, and advanced energy management solutions.
Head of M&A at Exus Renewables Víctor Lopez said: “This acquisition marks another milestone in Exus’ transition to an independent power producer, further solidifying our position as a leading player in the renewable energy sector.

Energy & Service Division chief executive at Grupo Enhol Roberto Sabalza added: “We are delighted to work together with Exus on this transaction.

PwC and Garrigues law firm acted as sell-side advisors to Grupo Enhol, whereas Uria Menendez law firm advised Exus.
