Falck Renewables has energised and grid-connected the over 74MW Brattmyrliden wind farm in Sweden.
The 74.1MW project, which is owned by Falck Renewables’ subsidiary Brattmyrliden Vind, consists of 19 Nordex N133 turbines with heights of 199.5 metres.
The turbines will now undergo final testing before reaching full commercial operations, which is expected by the end of first quarter of 2021.
Brattmyrliden is located near the town of Trehorningsjo in the municipality of Ornskoldsvik.
About 70% of the output from the wind farm is covered by a 10-year corporate virtual power purchase agreement with Ball Corporation.
Falck Renewables chief executive Toni Volpe said: “We continue to grow our presence in the Scandinavian market.
“With our second operational wind farm in Sweden, we increase our green energy production and also further contribute in create shared value with the people living around the plant.
“This will be done thanks to the funding of the Brattmyrliden community benefit scheme, following the spirit of inclusive, sustainable development which characterises all our activities.”
