Energia has started supplying electricity from five new wind farms in Ireland totalling 73MW.
They are the 27.6MW Longmountain and 9MW Glenbuck projects in Antrim, and the 14MW Altamuskin, 6.9MW Eshmore and 15MW Gortfinbar schemes in Tyrone.
The new projects bring Energia’s clean energy portfolio to more than 1GW.
Energia Renewables managing director Peter Baillie said: “These developments would not have been possible without the support of the local communities in Antrim and Tyrone and we look forward to working with the community groups into the future.”
