French renewables crowdfunding platform Lendosphere has now raised more than €10m to support projects in the onshore wind energy and solar photovoltaic sector.
The company is financing a total of 44 third-party projects, three quarters of which are onshore wind. Customers include ABO Wind, EDPR, RES and others.
The crowdfunding campaigns are financing environmental studies and met masts, as well as the construction phase of onshore wind farms.
Lendosphere is the country’s only crowdfunding platform in onshore wind energy and was founded at the beginning of last year.
The company collected €3.3m in 2015 and expects to gather up to €9m this year.
