France-based renewables developer GEG Energies Nouvelles et Renouvelables has gone to market for turbines for the repowering of its Rivesaltes wind farm.
The contract includes the supply, delivery, assembly and commissioning of six turbines and their maintenance for a period of five years.

In the tender GEG has specified four of the wind turbines to have a nominal capacity of 2.35MW and two of the turbines to have a nominal capacity of 1.5MW.
The contract duration is for seven years. A maximum of four companies will be invited to submit bids, according to GEG.
