French renewables developer Futuren has commissioned two wind farms in France totalling over 20MW and started construction of a new project of more than 15MW.
The commissioned projects are the 13.8MW Faydunes plant in the municipality of Saint-Affrique and the 6.3MW Joncels facility in the region of Herault.
Faydunes comprises six 2.3MW turbines, while Joncels features seven machines.
The commissioning brings Futuren’s total installed capacity to 448MW, of which 220MW are located in France.
Construction is underway at the 15.4MW Mottenberg wind farm in the municipalities of Zimming and Narbefontaine in the Moselle region.
Mottenberg will consist of seven 2.2MW turbines.
Futuren is currently building three projects in France, with the other two being the 38MW Coteaux and 12.8MW Mazurier wind farms.
