Gaelectric will later today officially open the Inishative and Cregganconroe wind farms, which have a combined capacity of 27.6MW, in Northern Ireland.
Both projects comprise six Enercon wind turbines, with a maximum blade tip height of 110 metres, and are located within Sixmilecross and the Loughmallon Road in Pomeroy in Tyrone.
The £41m projects are Gaelectric’s fifth and sixth operating wind farms in Northern Ireland.
Gaelectric Developments head of corporate affairs Patrick McClughan said: “We are delighted to officially open the Inishative and Cregganconroe wind farms.
“These openings mark yet another important milestone for our business and further strengthens Gaelectric’s platform in the energy market.”
