Gamesa has won an order to supply and install seven G97 turbines at a second phase of the 66MW Maan wind farm in Jordan.
The Spanish outfit will supply the 2MW hardware to the project which is being developed by Elecnor for the Jordan Ministry of Energy.
The wind farm already features 33 G97s commissioned earlier this year.
Delivery of the second phase turbines is slated for the end of this year with commissioning pegged for the second quarter of 2017. Once complete, the wind farm will reach 80MW.
