Spanish manufacturer Gamesa and the University of Navarra’s Tecnun Engineering School in San Sebastian have signed a collaboration agreement to provide practical training to students.
Under the terms of the deal, Gamesa professionals will give seminars or classes.
The subjects will include electrical systems, energy technology and energy efficiency for a variety degrees at the university.
The agreement will also include visits to Gamesa plants and facilities and internships in collaboration with the company
Gamesa executive director and chief executive officer Ignacio Martin (pictured, right) said: “This agreement underscores our commitment to training and professional development of future engineers.
“In addition, it also reinforces our commitment to promote exchange between the university and the company as a meeting point to achieve more competitive companies and universities in tune with the needs of industry.”
