Gamesa has won five orders to supply wind turbines totalling 304MW in India.
The Spanish company will supply and install 80 of its G114-2MW and 72 of its G97-2MW class S machines to several unnamed customers.
The units will be custom-designed for the low wind speed sites typical of India, it said.
The five wind farms are expected to be commissioned during the first quarter of 2017.
Gamesa will maintain all the facilities and will also build four of the projects.
It has installed more than 3GW of wind capacity in India since 2009.
