Gamesa has secured a turnkey construction contract to build a 50MW wind farm in India for developer ReNew Power.
The Spanish turbine manufacturer said it will supply and install 25 G114-2.0MW turbines to the project in Bijapur in the state of Karnataka.
Based on tower heights of 106 metres, the turbines are designed for low wind sites, the company said.
Gamesa will also provide the infrastructure to operate with wind farm with a commissioning of March 2017 eyed.
The order brings deal between ReNew Power and Gamesa to 300MW.
