Gamesa is to supply turbines totalling 75MW to PT UPC Sidrap Bayu Energi for a wind farm on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia.
The Spanish manufacturer will deliver and commission 30 G114 2.5MW machines for the Sidrap project, which will be Gamesa’s first order in the south-east Asian country.
Delivery will take place during the third quarter of this year, with commissioning slated for the first quarter of 2018.
PT UPC Sidrap Bayu Energi is a joint venture between UPC Renewables, PT Binatek and AC Energy Holdings.
