GE Renewable Energy is to supply 22 turbines to Turkeler Holding for the 50MW Tire wind farm in Turkey.
GE will supply and install nine 3.2MW 103 units at 85-metre hub heights and 13 1.7MW 103 machines at hub heights of 80 metres for the project in the Aegean region of the country.
The 85-metre turbines will harness medium and strong wind conditions, while the 80-metre units are for lower wind speed areas, GE said.
The manufacturer will also provide maintenance services for the wind farm for 10 years.
