GE Power Conversion and BLP Industry AI (BLP) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to work together to provide solutions to help wind farm operators maximise asset availability and reliability.
The solutions will include next generation AI technology and asset performance management.
The partnership will bring together BLP’s EDGE software, and its proprietary Orion platform – the operating system for AI and IoT (Internet of Things), with GE Power Conversion’s Asset Performance Management (APM) solution, under this MoU.
Orion, along with its suite of industrial AI software-as-a-service products. make industrial data valuable by providing relevant insights to operations and engineering teams, to drive efficiency and productivity.
GE Power Conversion’s asset performance management is an equipment maintenance solution based on unique physics-based analytical techniques, engineered to provide relevant data and insights to facilitate improved performance of industrial electrical equipment and associated systems.
It is a global leader with unique experience and capabilities in the design and manufacture of advanced motor, drive and control technologies serving specialized sectors such as energy, marine, industry and all related services.
GE Power Conversion’s Engineering Design Centre (EDC), in Chennai, India, will leverage, through software and analytics, the asset performance management solutions for sector specific applications in marine, metals and renewable energy globally.
