GE Renewable Energy has announced that the first wind farm equipped with its Cypress platform in Spain is now fully operational.
With an installed capacity of 104.5MW, AzoraCapital’s El Monte is also the commercial wind farm with the most powerful wind turbines in the country, boasting 19 units of 5.5MW nameplate, according to GE.

It will produce 300 GWh per year, equivalent to the domestic consumption of 100,000 households and contributing to Spain’s decarbonisation goals.
