GE Renewable Energy has been selected by Naturgy to service turbines at the almost 22MW La Rabia wind farm in Spain.
Under the terms of the deal, GE will provide full preventive and corrective maintenance on the project’s 13 Eco-80 turbines for five years.
GE is already servicing 50 units of the same technology at Naturgy’s Pehimo wind farm under a separate contract.
The latest deal means GE has four servicing contracts with the company covering approximately 100 turbines at Naturgy projects in Spain.
GE Renewable Energy onshore services leader in Europe Robin Goodman said: “This deal represents the confidence that Naturgy has in GE Renewable Energy and the quality of our services offerings.
“We are delighted to welcome the La Rabia wind farm back to our serviced fleet.”
GE Renewable Energy said it is a digitally-enabled service provider for renewable assets, monitoring and maintaining more than 15,000 wind turbines across the globe.
