GE Vernova’s onshore wind business has signed an order to provide turbines for wind farms being developed by Eurus Energy in Japan totalling almost 60MW.
The order is for 14 4.2MW-117m turbines, which have a 4.2MW capacity and a 117-metre rotor, for the Iwaya and Shitsukari wind farms that will be built near Higashidori, in Aomori.
The order was secured in the fourth quarter of 2024 and the projects are expected to reach commercial operations in 2028.
