German investor Commerz Real has bought two wind farms near Berlin totalling a combined 41MW from developer UKA Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen.
The unit of Commerzbank paid €105m for the Duben-Süd and Karche II wind farms in the Dahme-Spreewald district of Brandenburg, legal advisers Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) said.
The eleven-turbine Duben-Süd facility was commissioned in 2015 while the four-turbine Karche II started operating late last year.
Both were acquired by the bank’s real estate and infrastructure unit for its new CR Institutional Renewable Energies Fund.
WFW advised the buyer on all legal and tax aspects of the deal.
