The Germany Federal Network Agency has awarded 1433MW in onshore wind contracts.
In this latest round 141 submitted bids were accepted.
The values of the awarded bids are in the range between 6ct/kWh and the maximum permissible value of 7.35ct/kWh.
At 7.32ct/kWh, the average, volume-weighted bid value is only slightly below the maximum, the agency said.
There are similarities to the previous round of tenders in the regional distribution of the award quantities, it added.
For example, the two largest award volumes were again attributable to bids for sites in North Rhine-Westphalia (457MW, 51 awards) and Lower Saxony (343MW, 31 awards).
This is followed by Schleswig-Holstein (259MW, 25 awards) and Baden-Württemberg (88MW, 5 awards).
The tender for the total bidding volume was reduced from 3192MW to 1667MW in August.
In total, the contract volume is already around 4400MW after three out of four tender rounds this year the agency said.
By way of comparison, in the whole of last year, only around 3200MW were awarded a contract for onshore wind energy.
This is already more than 35% than in 2022 as a whole.
The next round of tenders for onshore wind projects will take place on November 1 2023.
