Glennmont Partners has closed the sale of two wind farms in the UK to renewables and infrastructure investor Foresight Group.
The sale of the 25MW Gruig and the 12.5MW Todmorden Moor wind farms mark the complete divestment of the investor’s portfolio of UK and Irish wind assets.
Earlier this month Glennmont sold the Gortahile wind farm to Greencoat Renewables.
Gruig wind farm, located in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, comprises 10 Nordex N80/2500kW turbines and the 12.5 Todmorden Moor wind farm, in west Yorkshire, is powered by 5 Nordex N90/2500kW turbines.
RES Group operates both assets.
Glennmont Partners chief executive Joost Bergsma said: “We are delighted to complete the sale of both Gruig and Todmorden Moor wind farms to Foresight.
“The sale of our remaining UK wind assets reinforces Glennmont’s reputation for providing stable, predictable returns on investment in clean energy infrastructure, and underlines our continued success in divesting from Fund 1.”
Bergsma said the company will continue to “identify and secure further value” from onshore wind investments across Europe.
