Goldwind has secured turbine orders over 625MW for two wind farms in southern Ukraine.
The projects are the 337.5MW Zophia and 288MW Ochakov, which will feature 75 GW155-4.5MW and 60 GW155-4.8MW turbines, respectively.

Goldwind said the deals – first reported in the subscriber-only newsletter reNEWS – mark its major breakthrough in Ukraine, having first entered the country in 2019.
Zophia and Ochakov are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2022.
Once built and operational, they will have an annual production of about 2.2 terrawatt-hours.
Goldwind’s market share in Ukraine is expected to exceed 20% after full completion.
