Green Arrow Capital has acquired a 70% stake in a 55MW Italian onshore wind portfolio from Lazzari & Lucchini Group (L&L).
The asset manager is acquiring the five operational wind farms, which became operational in 2022, through its Green Arrow Infrastructure of the Future fund.
Green Arrow has also signed an agreement that foresees an acquisition of two ready-to-build wind farms in the south of Italy from L&L.
Both projects are due to be fully operating by 2024.
Daniele Camponeschi, co-founder and CIO of the Green Arrow Capital Group, said: “We are very proud of this investment, GAIF fund’s first in wind energy, as it confirms the Group’s leadership in renewable energy infrastructures as well as its constant commitment to diversifying the portfolio of green energy plants, with the aim of creating shared value in both the short and long term.
“This operation allows us to actively support the process of Italy’s energy transition and independence in line with Europe’s vision.”
