Swedish outfit Greenbyte is to provide data analysis for independent power producer EuroCape New Energy’s operational wind farms in France which have a combined capacity of 77MW.
The French subsidiary of the IPP will use Breeze, a specialised component of Greenbyte’s Energy Cloud renewables management system.
Greenbyte provide real-time production monitoring, streamlined reporting and data analysis over any time period, optimising plant energy output, performance and availability.
In France, EuroCape New Energy has developed and built a portfolio of more than 100MW over the last decade.
The IPP also operates 3MW of solar capacity and has a pipeline of 200MW of renewables projects in development in the country.
EuroCape New Energy’s operational French portfolio includes over 30 turbines from four different manufacturers.
Greenbyte’s platform will also be used with EuroCape New Energy’s projects in development.
EuropeCape New Energy head of construction and operations Olivier Marchand said: “With our portfolio growing exponentially, our team needed a flexible, modern system that enables us to make sense of our data, take the right actions and fully focus on our operations.
Power plants are remotely connected to Greenbyte’s platform via on-site supervisory control and data acquisition systems, resulting in a single tool to monitor, analyse, plan and control diverse renewable energy portfolios.
