Greencoat UK Wind increased its total assets to 785MW in the first six months of 2018, up 13% on the 694MW at the end of 2017.
A total of £277m was invested in the period to acquire the 47.5MW Brockaghboy wind farm in Northern Ireland and increase its shareholding in the 522MW Clyde wind complex in Scotland.
Greencoat said its wind farms generated 951 gigawatt-hours in the first half of the year, while the net asset value of the company stood at almost £1.3bn at the end of June.
In May, £118.8m was raised through a share offering.
Greencoat UK Wind chairman Tim Ingram said: “We are pleased to report continued solid performance of our portfolio, with good cash generation.
“We were also pleased with the strong support shown by both existing and new investors in May’s oversubscribed share placing.”
