Renewables asset manager Greensolver has won technical management contracts for two John Laing wind farms in the UK and France.
The company will manage the New Albion wind farm in Scotland, which has been operational since January, for five years.
The project totaling 14.35MW using Senvion MM82 turbines was acquired by John Laing in 2014 from wind developer Infinergy.
The other project is the Passily/Tonnerois wind farm due to be operational by the winter. The French site was acquired by John Laing last December. Greensolver will handle its technical management for five years.
The 20MW wind farm located north-west of Dijon will feature 10 Gamesa G97 turbines.
Greensolver will conduct performance analysis, component optimization strategy and lifetime extension checklists.
“We are extremely happy to develop further our relationship with John Laing in France,” said Greensolver chief executive Guy Auger.
“We know that entering into a new country is always delicate, and we are very pleased to have been chosen by John Laing to be their partner of choice,” he added.
