Boralex has completed the acquisition of Invenergy Renewables’ interests in five wind farms totalling 201MW in the Canadian province of Quebec for $215m.
The operational projects were commissioned between March 2012 and December 2016 and comprise Enercon and GE turbines.

The acquisitions raise Boralex’s total installed capacity to 1820MW.
Boralex president and chief executive Patrick Lemaire said: “This acquisition contributes to out objective of sustainable and predictable cash flow growth for our investors while supporting the generation of electricity derived from renewable energy for thousands of homes in Quebec.”
