Ignitis has secured a generation licence for a 94MW wind farm in Poland from energy regulator Urzad Reguliacji Energetyk.
The licence is for the Pomerania wind farm and will enable it to start the commercial operation date (COD) and generate electricity under the contract for difference (CfD) tariff of around €47 per megawatt hour, for 15 years, awarded in the Polish renewable energy auction.

Pomerania comprises 29 wind turbines with nominal capacities rated from 3MW to 3.3MW.
The wind farm takes Ignitis’ installed capacity to 1214MW.
The developer said it aims to consistently grow its green generation portfolio and reach 4GW of installed capacity by 2030.
