Scottish developer Muirhall Energy and partner WWS Renewables have acquired the development assets of UK outfit Infinis from owner Terra Firma.
The deal includes six consented projects totalling 90MW across England, Scotland and Wales as well as a number of projects in the planning process.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction folllows Terra Firma’s sale earlier this year of operational Infinis wind farms to JP Morgan Asset Management.
Muirhall managing director Chris Walker said he is “delighted to acquire the onshore wind development phase interests” of the Infinis UK wind portfolio.
“The acquisition continues our investment momentum in onshore wind in spite of challenging regulatory and market conditions. We look forward to turning these developments into operational wind farms over the next few years,” he said.
