A group of investors has a acquired a 127MW operational wind portfolio in north-east France, one of the largest transactions of its kind in the country.
The 11 wind farms were acquired by a consortium of investors comprising Amundi Energy Transition, with nearly €1bn of assets under management, TTR Energy, a Belgian developer, Green Electricity Master Invest IV and Hexagon Renewable Energy.
Amundi Energy Transition has taken a majority stake in the portfolio while TTR Energy will be the manager of the portfolio.
Augusta & Co served as the exclusive sell-side financial advisor on the deal, which attracted interest from both strategic and financial investors.
