Italy has opened a new renewable energy tender with 3350MW of capacity on offer.
The tender will close on 2 March, with the winners to be announced on 31 May, Gestore dei Servizi Energetici (GSE) said.

GSE said 2346MW of wind and solar is available, 110MW of hydro and 472MW for repowering wind and hydro.
A further 427MW is on offer for new solar with the simultaneous removal of asbestos.
GSE is wholly-owned by Italy’s Ministry of Economy and Finance.
