John Laing Group is acquiring the 21.6MW Sommette-Eaucourt wind farm in Picardie from WKN for £11.7m.
The project, which is John Laing’s second investment in France, will feature nine Nordex N117/2400 turbines and will benefit from a 15-year feed-in tariff.
WKN is the project developer and EPC contractor.
John Laing said that, as well as its equity investment in the project, ING Bank will provide debt finance for construction.
Sommette-Eaucourt is scheduled to be finished in January 2018.
