Senvion has confirmed a contract to supply a mix of MM92 and MM82 turbines to Irish developer NTR for the 27MW Quixwood wind farm in Scotland.
The deal includes 10 of the longer-rotored machines and three of the smaller units and delivery is scheduled for August this year.
The contract was first reported exclusively in subscriber-only newsletter reNEWS last year.
Senvion will provide a 15-year service deal for the Berwickshire project as part of the agreement.
Raymond Gilfedder, Senvion managing director for Northern Europe, said: “We are delighted to be signing our first turbine contract with NTR in the UK and developing a long term relationship with one of the leading renewable energy investors.
Quixwood was originally developed by County Durham outfit Banks Group before being acquired by NTR last year.
