Mainstream Renewable Power has completed the installation campaign at its 80MW Noupoort wind farm in South Africa.
All 35 Siemens wind turbines are now in place on the Northern Cape project which is expected to be commissioned in July.
Mainstream’s project manager Martina Flanagan said: “We have reached a couple of major construction milestones with the energised substation and operation of the first turbines a few weeks ago and now the completion of all of the turbine installations.
“This has been a huge undertaking and we would like to thank the public for their patience and support as well as the various teams for their hard work.”
The installation works were tackled by BMS and Fairwind.
