Banks Renewables has unveiled revised plans featuring reduced turbine tip heights for its 14MW Knockendurrick wind farm in Scotland.
The developer said further environmental information for the Dumfries and Galloway seven-turbine project has been filed with authorities.
Proposals include a reduction from 132 metres to 115 metres for six turbines and a final 100 metre machine.
Banks has also decided to relocate the wind farm further east to move it away from the Fleet Valley scenic area.
Community relations manager Jeannie Kielty said the revised plans came about as a result of “detailed feedback” from consultees and locals.
