Muirhall Energy has been given the green light by North Lanarkshire Council to build the 24MW Greengairs East wind farm in Scotland.
The eight-turbine project, which will be located near the village of Caldercruix, brings the company’s portfolio of consented projects to 260MW.

Muirhall Energy senior project manager Peter Marshall said: “We’re delighted that the planning committee has approved the project, recognising the support from community groups at Greengairs, Plains, Caldercruix and Upperton.
“We’d like to thank those groups and we look forward to continuing to work with them as we develop our plans for the project.”
