Natural Power carried out due diligence on behalf of Airvolution Energy for the commissioning of the 5MW Kinegar wind farm in the Scottish Borders.
The work included due diligence for both pre-construction and post construction phases.
The project is the eighth renewable obligation certificate (ROC) and feed-in tariff due diligence project delivered for Airvolution.
The other projects are at Wythegill, East Youlstone, Potato Pot, Mossmorran, Middle Balbeggie, Airfield and Red Gap Moor with a combined capacity of 50MW.
Natural Power due diligence lead Gregory Dudziak said: “We have worked for Airvolution for the past three years, and were delighted to complete this due diligence on the latest project at Kinegar wind farm.”
Airvolution commercial director Gary Freedman said: “The last few years of wind development has required the industry to act quickly and efficiently to meet demanding schedules, especially with the ROC deadline.
“Natural Power successfully provided timely due diligence services across eight of Airvolution’s eleven projects, which was essential in meeting the demanding timelines.”
